Xiaoqi Feng
Xiaoqi Feng obtained her PhD at University of Oxford in 2010, where she studied plant reproductive development. She pursued her postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley, focusing on chromatin and epigenetic mechanisms. In 2014, Prof. Feng started her laboratory at the John Innes Centre, where she obtained tenure in 2019. She joined the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA) faculty in January 2023. Her research has focused on the mechanisms of epigenetic inheritance and reprogramming in plant germlines, including small RNAs, DNA methylation, histone modifications/variants and 3D chromatin organization.
